Christopher Saylor is a well-rounded and ambitious leader with a solid track record of enhancing individual and team effectiveness, leading change, and optimizing operations.  Saylor currently works as Director of Distribution for a multi-billion dollar wholesaler servicing more than 800 supermarket, neighborhood market, and convenience store customers.  He has multi-site responsibility and oversees all aspects of the company’s distribution functions.

Before joining his current company, Saylor worked as a Distribution Manager for a multi-billion dollar retailer ranked as the 18th largest privately held company in the United States.  He led the achievement of significant distribution improvements, including improved service quality and efficiency, higher productivity levels, and lower operating costs there.  Christopher had total site responsibility for a Safe Quality Food (“SQF”) certified grocery distribution center servicing hundreds of retail operations in 5 states.

Prior to his work there, Saylor  held a senior-level management position in logistics.  He provided operations support in a 1.2 million square foot distribution center with inventory exceeding $54 million.  Aside from his regional distribution center responsibilities, Christopher led quality performance initiatives for the company’s third party logistics providers.

Earlier in his career, Christopher provided leadership in his work in the areas of safety, law enforcement, and labor relations.  Saylor conducted training, researched legal and employment matters, conducted feasibility studies, developed and implemented policies and procedures, and supported and improved customer service and operations.

In addition to his extensive management experience and more than 18 years as a leader, Saylor holds an Associate of Applied Science degree from the University of Cincinnati, a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Cincinnati, and a Master of Science in Law degree from Champlain College.  Christopher Saylor is also a Certified HACCP Manager.
